Privacy Policy

Protecting your data matters to us. This site is deliberately data-minimal: it sets no tracking cookies, uses no analytics, and serves fonts and images exclusively from our own server. External content (e.g. YouTube videos) is only loaded after your explicit consent.

1. Controller

2. Server log files (hosting)

When you access the site, our hosting provider (ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Friedrichstraße 24, 01067 Dresden, Germany) processes technically necessary access data (shortened/temporary IP address, date/time, file requested, browser/OS information) to operate and deliver the site securely. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, secure operation). The data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after a short period.

We set no non-essential cookies. For the “allow external content” function we store your decision solely locally in your browser (localStorage, key rg_consent_v1) – this information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

Embedded YouTube videos (from the “ROHRGERÜSTBAU history” archive) are only loaded once you explicitly consent (“Accept external content” / “Load content” button). Before your consent, no connection to YouTube/Google is made. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Legal basis: your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time: open cookie settings (also any time via the icon at the bottom left).

What we deliberately do NOT use: no analytics/tracking tools, no advertising cookies, no newsletter, no contact form and no social-media plugins. This is purely a knowledge and reference page and therefore especially data-minimal.

Note for minors: if you are under 16 and wish to consent to optional services, please ask your parent or guardian for permission.

Data transfer outside the EU: if you load external content (e.g. YouTube), data may be processed outside the EU. This only happens where the special conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met.

4. YouTube / Google as a third party

If, after consent, you load an embedded video, the provider (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; and affiliated Google/YouTube entities) processes data on its own responsibility – including your IP address. Transfers to third countries may occur. Details: Google Privacy Policy.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR) and delete them once no longer required.

6. “Like” on images

A heart symbol appears on the image galleries of this site. Clicking it increases a counter that is the same for every visitor.

Our server stores nothing but the number of clicks per image – a figure next to the image file name. We do not store your IP address, the time, a browser identifier, your device or any other personal detail. No visitor can be identified from this data and no profiling takes place. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in feedback on the images shown (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

In your browser, and only after you have clicked a heart yourself, the page remembers in local storage (localStorage) which images you liked (rg_likes_v1) and the last known counter values (rg_counts_v1). This serves solely to show you the correct state of the heart and to let you undo a like, and is therefore strictly necessary for the service you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). As long as you do not click a heart, nothing is stored on your device. These entries never leave your browser and are not read by us. You can delete them at any time via your browser’s site data.

7. AI chatbot “KI Rohrfreund”

This site offers a chat assistant. It is only loaded into the page as a script; nothing is sent until you open the chat and type a question yourself. Your question is then transmitted to our chat server chat.rohrgeruestbau.de to generate the answer. Please do not enter personal data in the chat.

If you use the booking or contact form inside the chat, the details you enter (name, email and/or phone number, message) are transmitted to process your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); the contact form sends them to us by email together with the chat history. The chat assistant is an AI – answers may contain errors and are not a legal or contractual commitment.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
